You make it so difficult to be a professional,
Consumed by your childish ways.
Being a professional means being respectful,
Not being hateful and putting things on display.
You make it difficult to be your colleague,
When all you do is set out to humiliate me.
Just because you put me in another league
Doesn’t mean that’s where I want to be.
I feel like I’m in the same place as you,
Always learning and growing with each task.
But you make it difficult with what you do,
I want respect. Is that too much to ask?
I am not trying to force my ways,
I don’t even care if you chose not to partake,
To sit back and sleep away your days,
But how can you do that with so much at stake?
We’re signing up to teach the next generation.
We need to be poked and prodded to be the best.
Don’t worry this is my last declaration,
I’ll leave you with the rest.
